Welcome to Dan Magnus Photography. I caught the photography bug almost 20 years ago when I got my first 35mm camera. I knew as soon as I put my eye to the viewfinder that I was destined to spend much of my life composing images in my mind and trying to get them translated to film. Little did I know at the time how challenging, yet rewarding, this process would be.

What began years ago as a hobby has now evolved into a part-time business. I am now a digital shooter, using a Canon EOS 20D for a high resolution, film-like quality. I also use professional grade lenses to ensure optically outstanding images. I work out of my modest home studio, as well as shooting on-location at any of the fantastic settings that Seattle has to offer.
